National Seminar on “Global Environmental Issues and Climate Change”

MCM DAV College for Women at Chandigarh is organizing a 2-day national seminar on “Global Environmental Issues and Climate Change” to be held on November 9-10, 2010. The event would include paper presentations and poster-presentations.

This two-day seminar, sponsored by UGC and organized by the Science Association of MCM DAV College for Women, Chandigarh, would be held at the college campus on November 9-10, 2010. The seminar would be inaugurated by His Holiness Sri Sri Ravishankar, a renowned spiritual leader & founder of "Art of Living Foundation".

Aims & Objectives:

• Outlining the global environmental issues responsible for climate change to sustain development of India.
• Developing practical understanding of the relationship between environmental issues and development by analyzing the working of natural system and economic system and how to select appropriate applications of technologies. Click here to read more...
