So I have been moving along pretty fast in my mind. Here I was thinking that I was a musical genious (I know I am not that good, but I can play music at week 4) and then reality smacked me directly in the face this evening. As I flipped to my next Suzuki book lesson, I realized...I have absolutely no idea what this book is talking about! What is a flat? What is a Sharp? Eeek!. So I took to the internet and started trolling for a good instructional video and came up short. I did find a couple of links/ lessons that helped. I know what sharps & flats are now, but I am now overwhelmed with everything I don't know (and it's a lot).
As I progress further, I realize...I do not think I can do this without more help. Phase 2 is going into action!
I am going to try and find an instructional video that can take me through my Suzuki book. Originally, I thought I could do just fine with a video that teaches me songs and I can learn that way, but now I have the hunger to really learn more. I want to know what the heck they are talking about in this book!
