Jessica Simpson is sharing details of how her fiance Eric Johnson popped the big question!

“I absolutely had no idea. He had talked to my mom and dad and my sister [Ashlee] three weeks before he asked me. He had the ring in his shoe at my house somewhere,” she says on The Morning Mash Up radio show, in an interview airing Thursday, December 2.

“I was like, why hide it in a shoe, but it worked. He got down on his knee and I had to sit down on it because I was so shocked,” she says.

Jess, 30, adds that it happened while she was watching Parenthood. “I was short of breath. It was definitely one of those moments where I’ve never felt that way before, ever … We met in my house it was amazing that he proposed to me in my house.”

“I can’t believe all the Simpsons kept a secret,” says Jess.

Singer-actress Jessica Simpson stunned diners in a restaurant when she almost flashed her breasts while trying to retrieve a morsel of food that had fallen down her top.

Simpson was eating a meal with friends at a lounge when a morsel of food accidentally flew off her fork and disappeared down her low-cut top, causing her to scream out in surprise, reports contactmusic.com.

Then Simpson dug around to retrieve the food stuff, "ruffling up" her top in such a way that fellow diners in the restaurant had to look away.

"She not only dug down into her top, ruffling through bra and cleavage, she even tried burrowing out from beneath, wriggling and digging diligently for the lost tidbit," a source said.

When she finally gave up the hunt, the 29-year-old star joked: "Oh well... it'll pop up eventually!"

Fox Apologises to Simpson for TV Skit

Bosses at a U.S. TV network have apologised to Jessica Simpson after broadcasting a cartoon mocking the star's weight.

The Dukes of Hazzard actress was ridiculed by animated versions of the Dallas Cowboys - her ex-boyfriend Tony Romo's football team - during Fox's Nfl Sunday (11Oct09) skit.

A statement released by a Fox representative reads, Upon reflection, our poor attempt at humour was insensitive and we deeply apologise to anyone who might have been offended

In the clip, running back Marion Barber says, "Man, I still can't believe Tony dated Jessica Simpson, even after she blew up bigger than (teammate) Flozell Adams!", to which player Jason Witten responds "Unlike Tony,at least Jessica comes up big when it counts!"

Their coach Wade Phillips then quips, "Say Tony, is Jessica around? We could use a defensive tackle!"

TV heads have now apologised to Simpson, who was subjected to media criticism for her rounder figure earlier this year (09).

Jessica Simpson Wants New Dog

Jessica Simpson believes her dead dog would want her to have another pooch.

The singer-and-actress - who was left devastated when her Maltipoo Daisy was taken by a coyote last month - is struggling to come to terms with the loss of her pet, but draws comfort in knowing Daisy would want her to move on.

She said: "I haven't really thought about another dog yet, but maybe sometime. Daisy would want that."

Jessica, 29, still finds it hard to discuss Daisy, who was a gift from her ex-husband Nick Lachey.

She admitted: "Daisy meant the world to me. I hold her memory very, very close. It was an unfortunate thing what happened. That I don't have her every day... It's a very hard thing to talk about."

People have been contacting my family and friends saying that Daisy has been found. Untrue. People are so cruel... please respect her memory (sic).

Daisy was snatched as Jessica looked on.

She immediately began a campaign to get the dog back, posting messages on her Twitter account and placing posters around her neighbourhood calling for information.

Earlier this week, Jessica - who joked Daisy was a lesbian after she struck up a close friendship with another female dog - revealed people had been falsely claiming Daisy was alive.

She wrote on her Twitter webpage: "People have been contacting my family and friends saying that Daisy has been found. Untrue. People are so cruel... please respect her memory (sic)."

Tony Romo Not Distracted By Jessica Simpson Masks

Because of suggestions that his hottie girlfriend Jessica Simpson is the jinx in his games, Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo felt the pressure and still led his team to victory over the Carolina Panthers Saturday.

Despite thousands of fans wearing Simpson masks, the Cowboys won the game 20-13. Some fans even wore blonde wigs. Simpson was not seen on camera although, according to ESPN, she was in attendance.

"I just put tunnel vision on. There's so many distractions about junk sometimes. I felt like the important thing for my team was to get myself into football mode 24/7," Romo explains.

"I let it roll of my back," the quarterback responds to the question if the media attention has bothered him. "It doesn't really bother me. But it hurts me when it hurts the people that are close to you. Some of the journalistic integrity this week was poor in some ways."

The game in question was last Sunday's game versus the Philadelphia Eagles. It was deemed to be the worst game of his career when he completed a season-low 13 passes and threw three interceptions.

Simpson was blamed for his loss. She was wearing a matching pink Romo jersey from a luxury suite view.

A website aptly named www.RuinRomo.com asks fans of opposing teams to download a Jessica Simpson mask from their site to distract Romo while playing.
