Tara Reid poses topless for Playboy

Actress Tara Reid, who was left with a scarred stomach after a liposuction procedure went wrong, has posed topless for Playboy magazine to prove that her body looks fine.

She said, "It wasn't a good surgery, it happens sometimes. I got it fixed and now I'm OK, and I want people to know that I'm OK. I've been OK now for the last five or six years but people only show old pictures which is so unfair and that's part of the reason why I did the Playboy shoot - to show the world this is me and this is what I look like."

Reid, 34, had been offered to strip for the publication several times in the past but she had always turned down the opportunity.

"I have been offered to pose for the magazine in the past but I didn't really think it was the right time. I was younger and I am in my 30's now and I feel that I am at the best age in my life - mentally, physically and spiritually," she said.

"So many unbelievable stars have done it throughout the years and I figured, 'Why not?' "

Tara Reid has overcome her physical insecurities and stripped off for an upcoming issue of Playboy magazine, according to U.S. reports.

The American Pie star underwent a botched liposuction procedure in 2004 and vowed never to take off her clothes for the men's magazine - because she was too insecure about her figure.

Reid told reporters, “I know there are problems with my stomach. There are bumps on it, it's uneven.”

However, the 33-year-old is now flaunting her figure, according to In Touch magazine.

She reportedly posed entirely nude for a Playboy shoot at a private residence in Santa Monica, California earlier this month (Oct 7).

A source says, “She was a bit insecure about her body when they first started. She looked great and finally got into the groove.”

I'm not stupid like Hilton and Lohan, says Reid

Actress Tara Reid will never get into trouble with the authorities because she isn't "stupid" like party girls Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton.

The 'American Pie' beauty, 31, insists she is a reformed party girl and is no longer prepared to risk her career, insisting her work comes before her social life.

"I think the reason I never ended up in as much trouble as Paris or Lindsay seem to is that I'm not stupid, so I'd never do a lot of the things those girls do, and I've always had good friends around me," said Reid.

"They need to straighten up a little bit and make better investments. And they should surround themselves with better people who don't let them get themselves in trouble.

"You'll never read a story about me going out and partying when I'm supposed to be working. Nor would I show up on a set drunk or miss a day's work - never."
