Akira Suzuki and Eichi Negishi have won
this year's nobel prize in chemistry along with a
US chemist.
Their achievement in synthetic organic chemistly
are not familiar to the general public,but intriguing
for reserchers.
Now there are 15 Japanese winners of the Nobel prize.
Up to 1990,only 5 Japanese won,however from 2000,
Japanese novel performance gained huge momentum,
no longer a rarity.
Unfortunately, the environment for long term and
basic reserch has deteriorated because everyone expects
short-term result more.
Also job out look is dark for students.
Those trend takes young people's dream away.
For the next century, Japan needs to extent on
science and technology.
Government should give budgets for education and
reserches for young scientists, who has a key to
Japanese future.
