An Indian man suffering from permanent erectile dysfunction after erection for 21 days.

A 55-year-old man in Kolkata, India, had to be rushed to the emergency room after having an erection for 21 days!

According to the doctors who attended to him, the father of two – who was not on Viagra, was suffering from Priapism – a persistent, usually painful erection that lasts for more than four hours and occurs without any sexual stimulation.

It happens when blood in the penis becomes trapped and is unable to be drained off. Yes, it’s a medical condition that can affect males of all age groups, including newborns and yeah there's nothing can be proud because of it because it's scaryyyy.

However, Priapism usually affects men in between the ages of 20 to 50.

“It took him three weeks to seek medical help. That’s way too late,” Dr Avishek Mukherjee, the head surgeon in charge, was quoted bywebmd.com. “He should have seen a doctor after he had a non-stop erection for six hours, because it could kill him or damage his penis.”

The doctors performed emergency surgery on their patient. But it was too late.
