In EAD form, they are asking about previous EAD info..like which service center, what date, GRANTED or REJECTEd etc.. Now I had two EADs..one is OPT and other one I got last year. Do I have to write info for both one or just for last year?? In last year's form, I wrote info about my OPT. But what now?

One big missing piece in your analysis - Country quota.
As per your analysis, there are around 125K pending cases. If there is no spill over (that is the case this year and that will be the case for the coming years as per State dept.), then EB3-I or EB2-I gets only 2700 visas per year.
Now, please redo your math and you can easily see that the current retrogress might look like there is hardly any retrogression.
This is my thought process (also referred by Ron G):
July 2007 brought in approximately 500K 485 cases.
We do not know how many cases were pending as of June 2007.
Fiscal year 2007-2008 USCIS used over 140K EB VISA numbers (I think it was around 155K).
Fiscal year 2008-2009 USCIS will use atleast 140K EB VISA numbers
so, 500K - 300K = 200K.
Assuming USICS approval rate is 85%; 75K of 500K are denied.
200K - 75K = 125K EB cases pending from the July 2007 cases.
Additions: from all current categories - may be 25 K in 2 years?
So, 150 K plus whatever that was pending as of June 2007.
So next fiscal year, 2009 if USCIS uses the quota 140 K, most or all of the 2007 filings will be cleared. If not EB3 I, definitely EB2 I and C, EB3 ROW will be cleared.

OKay, when I commented on the English, I was trying to be funny (which obviously I am working on) and see if that can help you in the misinterpretation angle.
Also, when someone does not support your theory, he/she is actually supporting you, by letting you know that your theory does not sound reasonable.
Contact a Taiwanese/Asian lawyer and ask him to help you. You can add him as a lawyer, and even if you are replacing your lawyer, and if asked, you can claim language barriers with the old lawyer.
And no, we are not experts here, and no one has claimed to be one, but I believe the real purpose of yours posting your situation here was to have ideas. There are thousands of thoughts going thru your mind on this situation and you are definitely not able to see thru clearly.

It will bring down the workload? Can you explain how? If anyone in the world is eligible to apply for the GC without sponsorship, the system will be flooded with applications, irrespective of whether they carry any merit or not. What makes you think that an organization that cannot process 140K applications per year can handle millions?
The point based system sounds great in theory, but cannot be implemented efficiently by the U.S. as long as it remains the most desired country for immigrants. It works for Canada, Australia and the U.K. because fewer people want to move there.
Anybody wont be eligible. Canada has been fine tuning the immigration since 2002.
Now only people who have studied or worked in Canada on work permit are eligible.
family based is greatly restricted unlike US where around 80 is non-skill based.
If they want they always reform but the exiting H1B is so good for American Companies that they will fight to keep the existing H1B-GC servitude instead of
any point based..
Plus there is politics of vote bank: Moment the CIR comes, the sheer stampede of illegal lobby like the bulls of Spain, H1B folks get crushed. You are correct. The rules must have changed recently. I wonder what made them make that change, Now children of US citizens (who were once Indian citizens) have an advantage over children who has both parents as Indian citizens. Weird.. isn't it?

It all depends on the job requirements. MS+0 or BS+5 is considered as EB2. May be you can get a written statement from another well known attorney to help convince yours. Or you can try to use a different attorney if your employer permits.

I agree with you, i think he is in deep s.... and the whole trying to type broken English thing is also fishy (in my opinion its on purpose)!
This guy has been in the country for more then 3 years (at least - based on his h1 being valid till 2011 which means recently extended)) on a work visa and cannot communicate a simple fact that they were fooling around and he didnt intend any harm (if that is the fact).... HE must be really really good at what he does at work for his company to keep him!
But to give the benefit of the doubt and innocent until proven guilty - I wish him luck!

The people who wants to be a part of American Society should first definately be a very open minded towards all cultures and social trends.
Other thing to be Indian or representing Indian traditions is not a crime but certainly every time barking against anything Indian may certainly be a crime as it is a clear indication of closed door or prejudicial mind towards one particular country and culture. Current president will understand our request and help us. He is very nice and kind person. He loves family and his mother in law lives with his family. He knows values of grand parents.
Indians live with family, that makes Indian family stronger and less divorce. And Indian kids are well taken care by grand parents. So they are well behaved and best kids.
We need this permission. Please work together and get this permission.
I read this in a website. Is this possible? I want to explore all possible steps.

i am lawful permanent resident. I want to bring my parents here permanently. I got nobody in India to take care of my parents.
When i was small, my parents took care of me. When i need them, they are their for me.
Now my parents need me. But i am not their for them. I feel very guilty and sad. I want to bring my parents in US. So i can take care of them.
How can i bring my parents permanently.
I know, i can bring them after i get citizenship, that is too long wait.
i just want to bring them now. So they can have good life with me. Anybody know, how can i bring them in US soon.

When i checked my status online, i saw that there was a LUD on my pending case on 10/7 and 10/8. Wondering there is a LUD, I called the NSC and the person on the phone told me that the case is being reviewed by an officer.
My question is that if there are no numbers available, then why would there be a LUD on the case status. So has anyone else seen a LUD on their cases as recently as after Oct 1, 2008????
MY PD is March 2006
