USCIS(*) will not publish any more visa bullettins and cutoff dates as there are so many people at IV predicting it.

I totally understand that reporters may skew facts to their specific needs and know first hand that the EB-3 category is retrogressed across all nationalities. I am one of your members that is not from either background mentioned.
I was responding to a post on this forum (and not the press in general) that implied that this issue affects people from specific ethnic backgrounds, which is false.
I do have a general issue that people seem to forget that.
I applaud all core member efforts, however negative this post seems.

No vkkkk, I'm not playing. What some people are saying is logic and what i'm saying is the fact. You seems new in this form. But i think most of the people here are serious and try share their sufferings, free help from freinds (virtual).

I didn't even bother to use the premium processing for my i140 because the i485 was not current that time, instead it way way back as a EB3. anyway, you know the rest of the story.....

After nearly 15 months, going by recent postings here , I was tempted to call IO to get any update on my 'pending I-485' . I happened to talk to a nice IO on my first attempt. She took some time to check on status and told me my 'name check is pending'. I told her on previous occasions / Infopass I was all the time told 'everything for me, especially name check is cleared'. She came out with an explanation---- your 2nd FP was cleared on 17 July 09 (Yes, I had 2nd FP on 7/6/09 as Ist FP in Sept 07 'expired' after 15 Mo validity) and that is why new 'name check' is initiated.
I can not believe this. If this is so, they may have to wait for 180 days even if there is nothing adverse from fbi and the dates become current.
It is very creepy.....
Please, share your thoughts if uscis require NC again and again for this never ending GC process ..
I called them several times yesterday until I was able to get hold of a good rep. Most of these reps are rude and they dont even care to listen to what I was asking.
The "good" rep told me that my case has been pre-adjudicated in the month of April and everything is all set and that they are waiting for the visa number. He said I might be getting another FP if it takes too long, but other than that everything is set. He did provide me quite a bit of information about my case, he told me that my name check and also background verification is also complete. He was even able to tell me how many EADs and APs have been issued to me against my 485. Hope this helps.

My lawyer is saying that even if you want to file I-485 now, the USCIS has advised Fedex and UPS not to deliver any mail to that PO BOX. In that case I am not sure how one could become member of the class action law suit.

I got a FP notice for next month. It is certainly not related to AP or EAD renewal, since I don't have any pending AP or EAD renewal. I got my EAD renewed last March and AP in May. So hoping that I got the FP notice since they started looking at my 485 application and something positive will be end result.

Hello everyone,
Three people from CA team went to Livermore temple today. We have distributed approximately (650 + 250 = 900) today at livermore temple. At around 1.45 p.m. we were told to stop distributing the flyer since it is against the temple policy.
One of the individual had his whole family working on distributing the flyers. After he left, two people did the same thing and there was not a single person or the car in the Temple who had not IV flyers.
We have found following things:
1. Not too many people are aware of IV.
2. Not too many people care about the Retrogression problem because they do not know what retrogression is and how it would affect them.
3. No body knows about the comprehensive immigration refrom bill.
4. No body know how the bills are introduce in the senate and house.
It is very important to spread the word about the IV and tell them to support us by contributing money.
People wake up. It's show time.

IV is open for suggestions. That doesn't mean every suggestion posted by every member will be accepted and implemented. Do you know any organization that implements all suggestions by it's 25,000 members? If you know one, please let me know!

2) Join a state chapter. Become a member/leader. Or start a 'special interest group' like IV physicians if you have a unique situation which needs a different solution.
3) Initiate your suggested activity in your state chapter. By initiate, I don't mean just posting the suggestion here or over there. 'Initiate' means setting the agenda, date, venue etc. and calling the members, and motivating them to participate. If it succeeds in one chapter, other chapters will soon join you (my experience as a chapter leader)
4) Please understand that as an organization representing volunteers, any suggestion needs the approval of majority to be implemented. Only way to get that majority buy-in is to initiate it on a small scale, and then develop it into a success story. Once others see success, they'll (majority) be motivated to join and support.
5) Most importantly, we need members who can 'lead' these efforts. Without leadership these suggestions will never take off.
I can assure you that a verified member ready to initiate his suggestion, take a lead and own the implementation of his/her suggestion will never be discouraged by us. Ideally GC should be issued in order of priority dates but from past experiences with USCIS I am not 100% sure that will be the case it will be all hell lose since they have just 30 days to consume all unused visa#. Else they will have to face the heat at the hill. So it could be pick any approvable aplication from the pool and finish the task.

Labor is done via perm process and they are now centrally processed (only prevailing wage is state dependent). Your company can apply for it online and you should get a result in 3-4 wks if the case is not audited. Good Luck to you.

Not sure if this helps, but this kind of thing happened to me 8 years back when my wife was pregnant. These USINPAC folks are shameless creatures who will take credit for the sun shining tomorrow morning. Lets send this guy Sanjay Puri, Robinder Sachdev and his fraudsters team a dictionary so that he knows how to spell IMMIGRATION correctly even if he has some malicious thoughts and actions in his mind. All they are good at is to do photo oppotunities and do these frauds where they claim to have worked or be working on an issue. I can also do the fund raisers and get photos taken. But there is where it stops with USINPAC. The politicians walk away with the money and turn their back on them and these guys start looking for the next politician to do a fund raiser for and get photo opportunity. How much more foolish can this get??

It would be great to have premium processing for 485s instead now that visa nos are available. Now now ... i know thats wishful thinking but think about it-could save a lot of time and money over EAD/AP/FP renewals. But then again hurts their income stream thats why they wont do it :((
