Who needs a new iphone every year? Let alone every 2 years? I just got an iphone 4 and it's so much more advanced than certainly any phone that I've ever had (and probably more advanced than most phones out there), that I don't see anyone needing to replace it ever unless it brakes.

That doesn't make it acceptable to torture him (or anyone else) - you can't win a war against terrorists by becoming a terrorist. Where would you draw the line and how do you determine that the line is in the "correct" place?
If you say it's OK to torture someone who knows a lot but won't tell you what he knows, how do you determine he's not telling you everything and therefore sanction torture? Before you know it, you are sanctioning torture against everyone "just in case" and it then becomes a routine part of any interrogation against anyone you capture.
I know there are no easy answers to this, and I don't know how I would react if my daughter's life was at risk and could be saved by torturing someone, but I do know that torture is wrong in and of itself and cannot be justified from a moral perspective
One thing I have not made clear, is that I agree that it is wrong, and immoral, but at the same time I think there are some cases where it is called for.
I do not advocate its use for ordinary soldiers or officers captured in a "real" war, but to be perfectly honest, I have zero compassion for the likes of KSM and people like him, to me this guy does not even deserve to be called a human being. Remember, this is the guy who beheaded Daniel Pearl, an innocent journalist.

Only issue I want fixed is wifi. Disconnects a lot.
other than the regular router issues between devices of different manufacturers, there is an old wifi bug that dates back to the first ipad. when it goes to sleep it doesn't release the IP after the half life of the lease like it's supposed to according to open standards. the router ends up assigning it to another device

...have moved from 'arctic silver' to 'mx-2' with great results. just as stable over time, seems to 'cure' faster, and i've found a several degree drop on lots of different builds....best of luck.

Hello,
I have been struggling with my wireless connection in my black MacBook lately. Its a very strange behavior, but I will try to explain it and hope someone can help me with it.
So I connect to my wireless network, every time I start my MacBook it connects automatically. The issue is when viewing a YouTube video or playing any flash game, suddenly the connection drops and if I try to connect to it again it doesn't find it. It doesn't find any network at all. I turn AirPort off and on again, but it still doesn't find anything. The only way of getting it to work again is by getting it into sleep mode or restarting it.
As none of the network related solutions I found online have worked, I got some console log info that may help to know what could be going wrong:

I know right? Christians are totally equivalent in women's clothing to Muslims. I mean, asking for the skirts to be to their knees, for them to not see midriff, or parts of the breast is totally equivalent to making the wear burkhas. Yes, dressing like a slut is a freedom in the Western World. This however does not mean it is a good idea. A woman who dresses like a slut is advertising that the best thing about them is their body. I don't know about y'all, but I value more than looks so someone who dresses in such bad taste is clearly a thing to avoid.
On the other hand I go out of my way to help women who act and dress well because it is more conductive to business. Ever tried to conduct a business meeting where a woman shows up dress very promiscuously? Seems I'm the only one who can concentrate in those kinds of settings.
The Burqua is worn to protect a woman's modesty and so they don't dress provocatively according to the standards of the country where the Burqua is worn.
Your views of what constitutes provocative dress is clearly less extreme than that but your opinion appears to be remarkably similar: "Women shouldn't dress provocatively."
It is wrong to make judgement of anyone based on how they are dressed: A woman (or man) may dress provocatively for a night out because they want to find a partner for the night or into the future. That doesn't mean they are an open door to any scumbag who thinks that they can violate them

Actually the recent news about the location db is a completely unrelated issue.
1. Apple does collect location data in order to improve their location services. This was long ago disclosed to regulators and users. This is NOT the target of the recent media buzz.
2. Your phone dynamically creates a local cache of known cell tower locations in order to aid in GPS triangulation (the "a" in aGPS). This is the recent hot topic and has been grossly misrepresented by the media. (Apple does not collect this data, because they sent it to you in the first place)
